Roero Arneis was re-launched in the 80s by the great producers of Barolo, Ceretto brothers, with the product called Blangè. This name, which had a great commercial prominence, derived from one of the plots of Arneis acquired by the Ceretto. It derives from the French “boulanger”, baker in Italian, because this plot seemed to have belonged to a baker.
