There is a huge amount of anecdotes and curiosities about Brunello: from the artistic history of the territory, to the names of the rich and famous people who, all over the world, appreciate it. This wine is often linked with another symbol of Made in Italy: the Tuscan cigar.
The Tuscan cigar was born just before Clemente Santi’s first attempts to create his first wine in the first half of the nineteenth century. A Tuscan Cigar, after drinking Brunello, it has always been a huge pleasure for the fans. They like it so much that, since 2017, the “Original Toscano Millesimato” cigar has been launched on the market, it is combined with this wine. This cigar, based on Kentucky and Tennessee tobacco grown in the upper Val Tiberina, undergoes two fermentations: the first in water and the second in oak barrels together with Brunello di Montalcino. Perfect for a Brunello Base dinner.
