Vermentino is a classic example of a vine variety closely related to the sea. Despite its controversial origins, Vermentino, in all the areas where it thrives, is always linked to the Mediterranean Sea. Whether in Italy or in France with their respective islands is a vine variety and a wine that has built for centuries its own presence almost always by the sea. Vermentino is perhaps the most natural vine variety / wine of the Mediterranean and when it is cultivated, it always points toward the sea.
