The brilliant sports car manufacturer Ferruccio Lamborghini once sold his car company in the ’70s, bought a large estate in Umbria of about 100 hectares that he revolutionized and modernized. In addition to the inclusion of international vine varieties, which were not widespread at the time, he improved the traditional ones including naturally Sangiovese and in the first part of his new activity as a producer he also planted Ciliegiolo.
